With the second and final pre-season test of the 2019 season now over, it’s time to take a look at which teams recorded the most laps in the final week of testing. This can give us some insight on the reliability of each car.
Mercedes retains their status at the top, again completing the most laps in the test. Although they fell just short of the 600-lap barrier, they were 50 laps ahead of the next team and lightyears ahead of their likely championship competitors: Ferrari.

The Italian team failed to complete 400 laps in the second week of testing, largely due to Sebastian Vettel’s crash during the second day of the week. Red Bull was another top team that suffered from a lack of running, completing the fewest laps of anyone in the second week of testing.

Recovering from their dismal start of the pre-season, Williams was able to clock some decent laps and make up for lost time. The British team completed just under 480 laps. Renault joined Mercedes as the only team to break the 500-lap barrier in the second week, with Haas the next closest with 487.
