Formula One announced plans to host a night race in Las Vegas next fall. The race will be held on Saturday evening, given the time difference to regions outside of the United States. The 14-turn circuit will be a street race on the famous Las Vegas Strip in November 2023 at 10pm local time, becoming the third American race on the calendar.

The Ferrari chassis driven by Michael Schumacher in the season finale of the 1998 season has been put up for sale with an asking price of $4.9m. The chassis qualified on pole position and finished P2 in the race at the 1998 Luxembourg Grand Prix. Schumacher also qualified in pole position at the finale in Japan, but Schumacher stalled on the formation lap and he had to start from the back of the field. He charged through the field, but later retired when he hit debris. Anyone with a spare $4.9m dollars to spare can purchase the car from the duPont Registry.

Grim details emerged this week regarding the death of former FIA president Max Mosley, who passed away in May of last year. An investigation ruled his death a suicide, after a long battle with terminal cancer. Shortly before his death, he reportedly had been advised by doctors that he had just weeks to live.
