Those of you who watched the Belgian Grand Prix on TV and stuck around long enough to see the pre-podium cooldown room would have saw an annoyed looking Sebastian Vettel. So why was he annoyed?

Now you may be thinking “but P2 is a good finish, why would he be angry?”. That’s true, but the Formula One Head of Communications, Matteo Bonciani, whispered something in his ear that made him quite irritated. So, what was it?

The story was explained by Formula One journalist Will Buxton. Vettel was flagged to perform the post-race drug test. No need for alarm though, as the selections are purely random. Carlos Sainz was also flagged for the post-race drug test.

The test involves urinating in a cup. Sound easy enough, right? Well, thanks to the dehydration that the drivers suffer during and after the race, filling up the cup can be a… less than pleasant task. Hence the reason for Vettel’s miffed expression.
