The internet exploded over last weekend’s Crashgate 2.0 between Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel in Azerbaijan. The FIA said that Hamilton didn’t brake-test the Ferrari, but fans were skeptical because the onboard footage appeared to show otherwise.

However, a user by the name of mrpranz posted a graph of telemetry data from the incident on the Formula 1 subreddit, showing that Hamilton had decelerated steadily, instead of a harsh brake-test that Vettel had accused the Brit of. The data in the graph was allegedly obtained from the F1 Live Timing app.

The data also supports the FIA’s claim that Hamilton had not reacted any different than the previous restarts, with a comparison of the other safety car periods overlaying on the graph.

The high resolution graph can be viewed here.
