Stirling Moss Hospitalized But Stable

It has been revealed that Sir Stirling Moss was admitted to hospital for a serious chest infection before Christmas. The former racing legend is still under doctors’ care in a Singapore hospital.

Moss was admitted to the hospital on December 22 with a serious chest infection which resulted in complications which have slowed his recovery. The news of his hospital visit was kept secret, with a statement appearing on January 14 to say that the 87 year old was now considered to be in stable condition.

He was planning to go on a Christmas cruise with his friends and wife of 36 years, Susie Moss. However, the former racing driver became ill and was taken to hospital, missing the cruise. Although it’s unknown when Moss was be discharged from the hospital, he and his wife will remain in a Singapore hotel for a few days.
