Everyone in the Formula One world knows Lewis Hamilton, but only a few fans know about his brother: Nicolas Hamilton. The creators of Project CARS have helped to shine some light on his inspirational story and how he is working to achieve his dreams.

Born with cerebral palsy, Nicolas grow up idolizing his brother but was unable to follow his dreams of having his own racing career. When he came upon the world of virtual sim racing as a teenager, he had discovered a world where he was able to fulfill his motorsport dreams, all while being in the comfort and safety of his own home. His virtual motorsport career has allowed him to win some virtual championships and helped him earn a role in developing the popular racing simulator game, Project CARS.

Nicolas and family discuss how his role at Project CARS, skill in the racing simulator world and pure passion for motorsport have led him on the path to success and even allowed him to race cars outside of the virtual world, something that was previously thought to be impossible. He has made appearances in the Renault Clio Cup and various touring car championships, including the 2015 British Touring Car Championship, where he became the first driver to compete in the series with a disability.

The story of Nicolas Hamilton is an inspirational story that proves that, no matter what stands in your way, it’s never impossible to achieve your dreams and goals in life.
