Because it isn’t quite as close as the World Drivers’ Championship, many fans don’t consider the World Constructors’ Championship. However, this championship is equally as important, if not more important than, the World Drivers’ Championship. After all, it is because of this championship that we see certain team strategies and team orders that aim to maximize team points performance.

As with the World Drivers’ Championship, the World Constructors’ Championship was dominated by Mercedes, with Ferrari trailing behind. Although it isn’t a close competition between the constructors, the World Constructors’ Championship is the real purpose of motorsport. Formula One was designed as a platform for automotive giants and technological geniuses to see who could create the superior car.

Racing Clothesline has put the World Constructors’ Championship points race in a visual graph. Looking at numbers just isn’t as impressive as looking at an infographic of the drivers trading places throughout the championship. In the championship was really close between the teams that scored less than 100 points, that graph can be located below the main one.

Sadly, that’s all of the infographics until the season starts up again in March. However, Racing Clothesline will have plenty of content throughout the off-season to help fuel your Formula One addiction.
