The United States Grand Prix will be so much more than just a race this year. This year, the Circuit of the Americas has worked hard to provide spectators with spectacular entertainment, including the music of one of the most acclaimed and beloved artists of our time.

Sir Elton John will be making an appearance at this year’s United States Grand Prix, performing in the post-race concert with his band. The band will feature Nigel Olsson on drums, Davey Johnstone on guitar, Matt Bissonette on bass, John Mahon on percussion and Kim Bullard on keyboards. This unique musical event will last two hours and feature the classics of John’s five decade career in the musical industry. The concert will be open to all race ticket holders. Tickets for the race are still available on the Circuit of the Americas website, but are limited.

“Our goal is to create a must-attend weekend this fall in Austin, Texas, by fusing music and art with local and international sport into Austin’s energetic nightlife,” says the president and CEO of Circuit of the Americas, Jason Dial. “Adding legendary superstar Elton John and His Band to an already packed race weekend at Circuit of The Americas, along with POP AUSTIN International Art Show, Fan Fest downtown and a University of Texas Longhorn football home game, will prove to be an epic sport and entertainment weekend.”

Not only will fans be treated to the action and excitement of a Formula One race, but they will also have lots of entertainment throughout the weekend. This is the event that no motorsport and musical fan should miss.
