Lewis Hamilton led the Mercedes team to another 1-2 finish in Canada. Valtteri Bottas put the Williams on the podium for the first time in 2015, after finishing third position because of the spin of Kimi Räikkönen following a tyre change. Despite the disappointment on Räikkönen’s end of the Ferrari garage, Sebastian Vettel’s crew was impressed with his rise to fifth position from the eighteenth grid position. Felipe Massa also had an amazing performance in the race: making his way from fifteenth to sixth.

Despite making some changes to the engine, McLaren was unable to run either car the entire race distance. Lotus also had a rough time when they were penalized for contact between Romain Grosjean and Roberto Merhi. This year’s event failed to produce the same level of excitement as the one in 2014 and we didn’t even see the highly expected safety car.
