After an amazingly close battle between the Mercedes drivers in Brazil, the 2014 Formula One World Drivers’ Championship is going to finish in spectacular style. Lewis Hamilton leads Nico Rosberg by just seventeen points, heading into the double points race at Abu Dhabi. The controversial double points race has been disputed by a variety of people involved with the sport. The double points will shake up the championship dramatically and could very well decide who becomes the 2014 World Champion. One crash or mechanical failure for either of the Mercedes duo will result in the other winning the title. Neither driver wanted the double points to be the deciding factor of the championship because there is so much controversy surrounding it.
There has been some confusion amongst fans about where Hamilton and Rosberg will need to finish in Abu Dhabi.
